You can seek payment assistance from the bank by selecting one of the many options that it provides to troubled homeowners. First of all contact the bank and discuss your problems with a servicing professional by dialing 800-395-3489. Then you can fill out the Payment Assistance Form and send the same online or through a mail along with the required documentation. The documents that you may need for the purpose include one month bank statement, pay stub for the most recent months, alimony or child support proof, P/L Statement, copy of lease agreement, listing agreement and preliminary HUD Statement. Collect all the documents applicable in your case and mail the same to the following address:

You can also fax the documentations at 866-286-4397. To know about your application status, you can call the Hardship Team at 800-365-6730. For complaints, contact the customer service.


In case, loan modification or any other mortgage services assistance does not work out, you will be left with two options to avoid a foreclosure on your home. These include short sale and Deed-in-Lieu of Foreclosure. A short sale becomes the most viable option if the value of your property is not enough to payoff mortgage loan.
